The Holy Scriptures - We believe that all Scripture is given by inspiration of God. This refers to the sixty-six books in the Old and New Testaments. We believe that the same God who inspired the Scriptures also providentially preserved them for our understanding and study. We can know our God through his Word.
The Trinity - We believe that God eternally exists in three persons. These are the Father, the Word (Son), and the Holy Spirit. These three are one God with precisely the same nature, attributes, and perfections. All are worthy of the same honor and worship.
Man - Man was created in the image and likeness of God with a physical body and spiritual soul. Man stands in awe of the universe and its Creator. Through Adam's disobedience all of mankind has become sinners. Without a savior, man is unable to improve his position before God and his soul will be lost for all eternity.
Jesus Christ is the Savior - We believe that in accordance with scriptures, Jesus is the virgin born Son of God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit therefore being born without the sin of Adam. Having lived a sinless life he went to the cross of Calvary to die for our sins, he was buried and rose again on the third day. Currently he is seated at the right hand of the Father in heavenly places. Jesus Christ is the way, the truth, and the life. No man can come to God but by Jesus Christ.
Salvation - We believe that salvation today comes by grace through faith. This comes through believing in the gospel of Christ. One must trust that Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again the third day. Once a person is saved they are saved eternally. Upon belief in the gospel the believer is sealed with the Holy Spirit until the day of redemption.
The Church - We believe the Church today to be the body of Christ. It is comprised of all who have trusted the gospel of Christ for salvation.
Baptism - We believe that all those who trust in the gospel of Christ are baptized by the Spirit of God into the Body of Christ. We believe this to be the "one baptism" of Ephesians 4:5.
Eternal Punishment – Christian’s serve a just God. All believers and non-believers will give an account of their lives. It is God that judges, not the Church the Body of Christ. We believe in the doctrine of eternal punishment for the wicked in a literal place called Hell. It is every Christian’s desire that all people come to the saving knowledge of the truth, but everyone will be judged.
The Christian Life - We believe that the Christian life should be a life lived in service to the Lord. We are encouraged by the Holy Spirit that lives within our very soul to love others, pray in all matters, share the gospel with everyone and be a blessing to the Church the body of Christ.
